Travel Ideas

Travel on a Budget: As a college student it’s difficult to go on extravagant vacations…or is it? Booking a flight way in advance, backpacking, taking advantage of your student ID, getting groceries instead of going out, pre-gaming and spending less at bars, and finding the cheap transportation route to get around. Traveling on a budget as a student can be easy and still be fun. Sometimes people can find traveling so cheap that they do it for an entire year, getting stories, and interviewing people would be easy.

Travel to Study: Many students travel to study abroad or even after they graduate they travel to study and or work. It’s interesting to find out how students balance out their traveling and their work. Students like to maintain a blog while being away from home so people can keep tabs on their life.

Travel with a Purpose: A lot of people travel for different reasons whether it be for leisure or for business. Some focuses could be traveling for food, traveling to see museums, traveling to see monuments, or traveling to learn about new music. There are a lot of famous people on the travel channel that have blogs about their reasoning to travel. It’s interesting to find out different perks on why people travel.

  2. Right now, your travel ideas are way too broad. There has been so much written about each of these topics, in many cases by the travelers themselves. You need to find a small, clear focus for your project or you risk ending up with vague stories of little interest to most people.

I love the first idea, traveling on a budget. I know that for a lot of college students whose primary reason for not traveling is money and lack of affordable options. I’m really interested to see what you come up with in the future.
